The biggest barrier to innovation in law firms isn't money, talent, or strategy. It's fear

We all want the glory but none of the risk, and that's what's holding us back.

If you want a guarantee you need to stick to the tried and tested. If you want big impact growth, you have to trust your vision.

But who's brave enough to do that?

Me, I am!

I believe we are on the brink of something amazing.

There is so much awareness now about the real value of our differences and how harnessing these can improve our Law Firms and other businesses.

But honestly, that's where it ends for most. At best it's a fear to be the one to take the risk and so they copy what's worked for others, change is slow and so is growth. At worst, it's just lip service to current trends.

We always look back on the ones who had incredible success and led the way and wish we had thought of their 'big idea' first.

But in reality so few are willing to be different and you don't get the 'next big idea' by being the same.

We have an amazing opportunity right now.

We are beginning to understand how supporting different thinkers can actually help streamline processes and fill gaps in business we might not have known existed.

Yet still so many are not willing to lean into this.

Some of the big players — who are big players for a reason — like Linklaters and Clifford Chance are already doing it.

But are you?
